We are a boutique swimwear brand offering exclusive products, handmade with love. Ethical production at our sewing shop in Masaya Nicaragua

Our Commitment to Social Responsibility

At Dkoko, we are proud to offer quality products handmade by our local sewing team in our very own boutique sewing shop in Masaya, Nicaragua. Masaya is a town famous for the skilled craftsmanship of the artisans who live there, which is why we chose to set up shop over three years ago in this special place, home to talented textile workers.

Dkoko designers went to live in Nicaragua to personally train our manufacturing team, since sewing swimwear was new to their repertoire of textile talents. After that first year of learning together, we have perfected our teamwork, incorporating traditional weaving skills into our designs and achieving the level of quality Dkoko is known for among our ocean-loving clients around the world.

Currently, our sewing shop staffs 5 full-time employees, who all receive maximum working benefits, including health insurance, social security and pension funds, two days off per week, a month of paid vacation per year, and double salary through the month of December.
