After nine years of running our own workshop in Nicaragua, we took a strategic step forward in 2025 to elevate our product quality and lower our carbon footprint. Today, Dkoko collections are proudly designed in Costa Rica and crafted in a specialized, state-of-the-art facility in Colombia.
This partnership allows us to offer you the finest boutique swimwear while radically improving our proximity logistics. By producing in Colombia, just a two-hour flight from Costa Rica and only hours away from our North American clients, we significantly reduce shipping emissions.
We are proud to offer a true "Made in America" product. This decision ensures our pieces are created in a modern environment where artisans enjoy fair wages, excellent working conditions, and a culture of wellness. Priscila is the welcoming heart of our Jacó boutique and the dedicated force behind every global online order. A true Dkoko expert, she has been a vital part of our community for over a decade. Clients love visiting her for personalized fitting sessions. She always knows exactly which bikini will offer the perfect fit for your unique shape.
When she is not carefully preparing your packages or sharing her expert styling advice, Priscila is deeply committed to helping her local community. She is a passionate animal lover who finds her daily balance by giving back and supporting those around her.
Rosa Obando
Time working with Dkoko: 6 years.
Rosa is a Costa Rican designer whose heart is deeply rooted in textiles and artistic creation. As a highly creative spirit, she helps guide all our marketing and new collection campaigns. She beautifully translates the Dkoko vision into our social media, keeping our global community connected and inspired every day.
For years, she was a familiar face at our Jacó boutique, where she loved feeling the softness of our products, listening to client feedback, and sharing personalized style recommendations. Today, she continues to provide exceptional customer service and digital care all the way from Argentina, where she is currently advancing her studies.
When she is offline, Rosa immerses herself in the botanical world. She has a special love for plants and spends her time exploring the mindful art of natural dyeing. She is also a passionate surfer, and we know her deep love for warm tropical waves will bring her back home to Costa Rica soon.
Jirlany Mejias
Time working in Dkoko: 6 years
Jirlany is the welcoming manager of our Santa Teresa boutique, bringing her love for the ocean into every client interaction. For the past six years, she has been a dedicated guide for women visiting our tropical store, helping them find the perfect pieces that make them feel beautiful and confident in the water.
Beyond her role at the boutique, Jirlany has a deep passion for photography. Recognizing her artistic eye, she recently expanded her work to help capture the true essence of our brand. This year, she has created engaging videos for our social media, and documented exclusive behind-the-scenes content for our last two campaign photoshoots.
When she is not styling clients or looking through the lens of her camera, Jirlany finds her daily inspiration in the coastal lifestyle, exploring and enjoying Santa Teresa's beautiful beaches.
